dead bodies for halloween…

sounds gruesome, it is.  it’s easy too and because the results are so amazing and real looking, the process can be addicting.

a friend of a friend on facebook posted a link to this guy, jack lofts, who has an easy peasy method for corpsing.  now, i’ve seen online tutorials for corpsing fake skeletons for halloween and it’s really is a labor-intensive process.  so i watched this video with my daughter who immediately showed it to her father and he went out and bought all the materials the very next day.

heat gun

plastic sheeting

small can of stain

craft paint

after doing 2 skulls, he went on to doing 3 full skeletons. all in one night, in like 2 hours.  he was hooked.

aside from the skeletons we already owned in our halloween prop stash, materials in total cost less than $20!!!

do it, it’s fun!
